Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your Spine Race purchase, but if something isn’t right, here’s how to return or exchange your item.

How to Start a Return

You can start a return in one of two ways:

  1. Log into your account and request a return directly through the Store; or

  2. Email our team at info@thespinerace.com for support.

Returns Window

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return. After 30 days, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused and unworn

  • In the same condition as received

  • In the original packaging where applicable

Eligible items include:

  • Hoodies, tees, fleeces, and other apparel

  • Montane garments

  • Accessories such as mugs or hats (excluding items noted below)

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for the following:

  • Digital downloads (e.g. Dot Watchers Guide)

  • Coffee products (e.g. Brutal Brew)

  • Printed goods (e.g. posters, artwork)

  • Gift cards

  • Any item marked non-returnable at checkout

Exchanges

We’re happy to exchange items if you ordered the wrong size, fit, style, or colour, as long as the item is unused and in its original condition.

To request an exchange, please either:

  • Log into your account and choose the exchange option; or

  • Contact us at info@thespinerace.com with your order number and details of what you’d like to swap for.

Exchanges are processed once we receive and inspect the original item.

Partial Refunds (if applicable)

A partial refund may be offered if:

  • Items show signs of wear or use

  • Original packaging is missing or damaged

  • Items are returned damaged (not due to our error)

  • Items are received more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

When your returned item is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm approval or rejection.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

Missing Refunds

If a refund hasn’t appeared:

  1. Check your bank account

  2. Contact your card issuer

  3. Contact your bank

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items can be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

Gifts

If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit once the return is processed.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund goes to the original purchaser.

Customers are responsible for return postage. Shipping costs are non-refundable and may be deducted from your refund.

For items valued over £50, we recommend using tracked postage. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items otherwise.
